Lenders Engineering

50 year history providing services to the resource, mining and finance sector through our founding companies Runge, Pincock Allen & Holt (PAH) and Minarco-Mineconsult, which merged in 2008 to form RPMGlobal.

Established offices in Australia, Canada, USA, Brazil, Chile, Indonesia, China, Mongolia, Turkey and South Africa, bringing regional insight and language support to our global technical team.

Over 140 in-house specialists covering geology, engineering, processing, construction, infrastructure, environmental, social, climate change, carbon and biodiversity are further supported by leading external specialists in tailings storage, geotechnical and hydrological, who work as part of our team.

RPM has worked on projects involving virtually every mineral commodity, including precious and base metals, iron, coal, as well as battery and critical minerals and industrial minerals. We work on both upstream and downstream mineral projects. Our clients include government agencies, financial institutions, utilities, mining firms and legal establishments.

We have an established track record acting as Independent Engineer for lenders, including over 70 projects across the world for commercial banks, ECLA’s, PE funds, and their advisors. In 2024, we are actively involved with 31 projects supporting clients and their lenders in raising over AUD 23 billion in capital. We have assisted clients in securing over AUD 12.8 billion of debt financing in the past 10 years from the worlds leading commercial banks and ECLA’s and are actively monitoring AUD 10.4 billion of construction capital.

RPM is a global leader in the review of both upstream and downstream battery and critical minerals projects, having gained significant insight into all the emerging extraction, processing and refining technologies associated with these projects. In 2024 we are actively supporting AUD 8.2 billion of battery and critical mineral project financing around the world.

During these Lender processes, RPMGlobal liaises closely with the mining companies and their lenders to ensure all findings are understood and where possible mitigated.
