Amanda Desjardins
Senior Solutions Consultant

Amanda Desjardins completed her undergraduate degree in Mining Engineering from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario.  She earned her professional engineering designation in 2011 and currently holds this designation in Ontario, Alberta, and Saskatchewan.  Amanda has 15 years of experience within the mining industry with experience in multiple mining methods and commodities, ranging from underground hard rock to open-pit energy. Within the mining industry, she has had the opportunity to work in a range of roles including short and long-term planning, reclamation, equipment manufacturing, and continuous improvement.

Amanda started at RPMGlobal in 2019, working within the North American Technology Team.  Her focus within the technology team has been planning software for time horizons ranging from life of mine to shift-level planning and short interval control. She earned her MBA from Athabasca University in 2023 and has applied this business focus to her projects.
