#146 – An Update on the Minimum Engineering Study Requirements

Written by:

Stuart Smith | President of Consulting & Advisory – Americas

This quarter’s edition of RPM’s perspectives gives an update on a previous perspective, outlining the minimum engineering study requirements. Since the last edition, released in 2015, there have been material changes in the marketplace. The regulatory environment in the United States has been revised by the SEC with the introduction of S-K 1300, replacing Industry Guide 7. Stuart Smith delves into the impact on study requirements caused by these regulatory changes, as well as new challenges in the industry, such as ESG reporting.
