OPMS manages the entire scheduling process within one application. It contains product optimisation, destination scheduling and haulage modelling, integrated as part of the one process. It is now possible to simultaneously schedule mining and dumping as part of the schedule.

It also means detailed haulage modelling of every movement in the mine is captured providing a true reflection of what is happening on site. Unlike other packages, Product Optimiser is integrated with the schedule to determine the optimal way to process, blend and stockpile products to maximise value from what is scheduled to be mined. It can be used for individual mining operations or multiple mines with shared processing facilities.

External material sources

Mining operations often have to process material from other sources, such as an underground section or a neighbouring mine. OPMS considers materials from underground operations and 3rd party sources when optimising for product value, blending requirements and process plant utilisation. Unlike other packages, external sources are not an afterthought that needs to be added to the schedule once completed.
