ABSTRACT
Compliance in planning and operations has become a critical directive in the challenging of today’s mining industry. To be successful, 3 key components must be met. Firstly, there must be a methodology of creating an Executable operational plan that includes the key drivers and barriers to production activities. This ensures that plans can be made responsive to the drivers to dictate it’s pace. Secondly, there must be a mechanism that enables rapid collection, analysis, and reporting of key measurable parameters such as production rate that can provide triggers for action. Thirdly, there must be an environment that allows for repeatable, responsive planning with live data feeds to enable planners to respond to calls to action. This needs to be an integrated solution so that the same data in presented, available and utilized concurrently. RPM Global defines how these 3 components are utilized in a daily production environment to provide massive improvement to plan compliance on a shift, daily, weekly and monthly basis.
