Course Content

Introduction to DRAGSIM

Project setup, DCL code overview, polygon identifier, importing surfaces, excavation views, and calibrating data.

Dragline Method Simulation

Various workshops teaching users how to configure models for: simple side cast, key bridge, spoil side, multiple seam; and box cut dragline mining methods.

Learning outcomes

Learn how to navigate around the software.
Know how to access product help documentation.
Create and/or update a mine simulation.
Learn how to import data into the simulation.
Understand the equipment database.
Learn how to use dashboards and reports.
Analyse impacts of changes to the simulation.
